There are many influences on the way we think about difference; from childhood and from the media it is very easy to unconsciously absorb negative attitudes to people who we see as different from ourselves and the people we are familiar with.
Unfortunately some training in discrimination in the past has had a blaming and shaming method of getting some of point across.
Pam has spent many years bringing reluctant learners back to the training room to experience diversity training in a more empowering and enjoyable way. Embracing diversity is about celebrating difference, learning from one another and challenging discrimination together, confidently and competently.

Diversity and Self Esteem

This course is intended for those people directly experiencing discrimination and who would like to understand their reactions and responses to those experiences as well as finding new ways of tackling discrimination when it occurs. The primary objective of this course is to assist people in developing their self esteem, ways of processing and avoiding the impact of discrimination and to experience a range of techniques for regular use in maintaining a strong sense of self-confidence.
